Codux Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Codux Mobile handles information when you use pairing, terminal access, file upload, voice input, and related features.

Information we process

We process only the information needed to make the app work.

  • Pairing and connection data such as host ID, device ID, relay/WebRTC state, and connection status.
  • Content you choose to send, including terminal commands, text files, selected images, and uploaded files.
  • Voice input audio when you explicitly use microphone-based features.
  • Camera input when you scan a QR code for pairing.
  • Photo library access when you choose an image or file from your device.
  • Location permission only when iOS requires it for nearby or local network connectivity features.
  • Basic diagnostic information needed to keep the service reliable.

How we use information

We use this information to pair devices, render terminal sessions, upload files you select, support voice input, and keep the connection working.

We do not use your data for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Storage and transmission

Data is transmitted over encrypted channels. The relay helps exchange pairing tickets and WebRTC signaling, and the client can use a direct path when the network allows it.

Some preferences and local state may be stored on your device to preserve your session and settings.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information.

We only share data with infrastructure required to operate pairing, signaling, and relay fallback, and only to the extent needed for the service to function.

Your choices

You can revoke camera, microphone, photo, or location permissions in system settings at any time.

You can remove local app data by deleting the app and clearing related device storage where applicable.
